PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

In this role you will assume responsibility for the hands-on, direct supervision of production line employees to ensure schedules are met and production requirements are achieved.

Ideally you possess three to five years experience in a manufacturing environment. You are a self-motivated individual and possess excellent technical, organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong team leadership skills and good communication skills are a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required. Emphasis will be given to individuals with post secondary training and demonstrated abilities in effectively dealing with people issues.

PRESS ASSISTANT - Winnipeg Facility

Reporting to the Department Manager:

DUTIES:

•  Discuss daily workflow with Press Operators

•  Keep Multiple press feeders filled with stock as required

•  Anticipate the next skid required for each press

•  Unload Dollies to skids as required

•  Assist Operator with skid or dolly identification

•  Assist Press Operators with daily and bi-weekly maintenance

•  Assist Press Operators with cleaning up during and the end of the day

•  Empty Garbage into correct recycle/garbage bins

•  Any further tasks as assigned by the Department Manager

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

•  High school education

•  On the job training of two to three weeks

Production Workers

We have immediate openings in our manufacturing facility for production workers.  This is an entry-level, manual labour position operating paint mixing and sampling equipment; handling production equipment and materials; and using solvents to clean equipment.   Training will be provided.  Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary.  Applicants must have a reliable work record with good attendance and punctuality.  Prior experience in manufacturing environment would be an asset.
